My Denali half clones...

Shipping for 1 chip was expensive so I bought 25 (free shipping) and I'm going to sell the extras locally...

Been a real learning curve, wish I had easier access to the same parts mamu used. Got two going so far, first one by the time I'd finished I couldn't get the regulator in, let alone the display but it was handy to have for the second one that's working well...


Have a few other boxes and regulators here and coming so I'll post some more when I have something nice to show

 

one of the st. louis vapers (i don't know if he has a forum nickname) is making these types of mods too. he's been painting the cases some funky colors. i don't know if the link to the pic will show or not cuz it's on facebook.

I really lack knowledge on this mod. Looking at your link is it safe to assume it uses 2x 18650's and from the picture above utilizes VV functions as well as a screen?

 

Others fitted a screen it there, with my bits I was lucky to fit the rest minus the screen. Yep VV giving 3.7V to 5.9V with great efficiency. 6A 30W... Electronics are kick ass...

Feels nice in the hand, good weight and well worth building yourself. Buzz Pro survives without a screen so mine will too and it sure simplifies the whole process and makes it cheaper too...

 

Wonder how this guy did his, look so clean and beautiful paint work. Centred atty connector FTW but I wonder what he's done with the VV Pot? and what the dots are below the main button, maybe on/off etc in some kind of micro switch...

 

They really look great but I am dieing to see how he exactly did all the internals of this. Does anyone know if he is selling them?

They just sitting on them. Seeing what works and looks good plus easy to work with. Issue is I used a pot with a 3mm shaft (and nut and washer securing the top) so no knobs fit so have to adapt and overcome.

Looked at putting one of the displays in. Mine feel more like they should be mounted on the wall rather than in the space available

 

it looks like they have some vinyl skins put on them as well as some painting..

i want the internal as well, i have a few regs and boosters that need a home in something like that...as soon as i get my ass back to work....FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!...lol

i have not received a response yet. i did hear thru the grapevine that the guy is out of town and i don't know when he's due back. i also heard that he will never make another one with the paint job that is 3rd from the right. :-(
