My fisrt mod i made with a flashlight has no wires and no solider.
All i used was a drill, switch, and jbweld to hold 510 connector to a metal washer, almost forgot i used a grinder.
I use a 18500 protected battery.( battery last all day plus some )
I have been vapeing this mod for 4 weeks and no problems.
My switch is a 5 amp switch i got from a CB Shop not a cheepy ( first switch i had lasted 2 days was junk shack switch )
I replaced the switch i went ahead and solider the 510 connector to the metal washer. ( bought a solider gun )
But it still does not have wires.
I am going to add to it just dont have the time right now. ( 2 way led for power on and vapeing )
I will post photos when i get a chance if anyone would like to see it.

It feels good to use it. I drive semi truck all night and the battery life is nice.
I vape alot driving down the road about 6 hours of drive time and it last all that time plus some. maybe 8-9 hours.
It's only 3.7v battery but i checked it, it runs at 4.2 volts not 5 volts but close enough for me.
I was useing standard 510 battery that was not cutting it with a little over a hour of vapeing was haveing to charge the batterys alot.
I will post some pics of it apart and put together to show how i did it.

I'm really interested in how this went together since it's all done w/o wires at the moment.

  5. I bent the post of the switch to touch the battery and the 510 connector positve post, works great no wires.

Oh nice, wouldnt the pressure from the batt eventually bend the posts on the switch tho?

  9. its has heavy duty post on the switch but if you bend it it comes apart easy to fix it

  10. i see, ya def easier to fix that than resoldering the wires :)

Could you post some pics on how you made the connector for the atty to the battery? I want to start modding and this seems like a nice easy way to start.

Its just a standard washer i had you can get at hardware store i drilled out the inner hole to fit connector and took a grinder to the outer edge till it fit inside the flash, this also acts as a ground.
