Tube wood mods?

What do you guys think of a wooden tube mod? This would be a mod that does not use electronics and also has a mechanical switch.

 

Would it still be conductive? Sorry if dumb question. Wood would be much lighter to carry around.

 

Well obviously the wood wouldn't be. However the internals would be. So yes I guess?

 

So do you guys think wooden mods are just too fragile? Played out? C'mon let me know what you think!

Cool I guess a little gaudy for me though.

 

These are more or less of what I am thinking about. I would like something a little more eye catching though.

 

I am wary of Wood...... (take that how you want) But to me wood can seem to cause more trouble than it's worth. I know I would not trust myself with a wood mod of any shape. I am just to hard on my mod at times and I demand them to be resilient

 

You could destroy a stainless mod Scott.

 

Well then I guess you know me well... I may just be one of those QC guys that no one wants to test their mods with LOL

 

Well when I get this thing built I will be sure to get it in your hands Scott to see what you think. I am starting to move forward with the things I need to make this thing!

It should. It was going to be one of the first mods I ever produced to sell. Just to put it out there. The new mod will be similar to that one only smaller and several better features.
