Do not buy Altus Tank

I have ordered this tank as soon as it became available because of the innovation.

The Tank arrived 2 weeks ago and right from the start I have found several faults with it:

1. ramp up time - unacceptable ( you are sitting and waiting for 1-3 seconds before you can vape)
2. wicking technique - unacceptable (most people will give-up after second of third re-wicking as it takes forever to make it right and if you don't - dryhit galore)
3. tank temperature - tank is getting HOT after 5+ minutes of vaping
4. Flavour - just isn't there - I find the flavour being very average, my Cubis producing better flavour.
5. Vapour - this tank is producing as much vapour as my cigarette.
6. Price - extremely overpriced.

All in all, this tank isn't ready for prime-time, at least in my opinion.

 

Damn, why I couldn't find this thread last week, when I placed an order for this tank.

Well, maybe I can dump it on kijiji now.

It's an interesting concept forsure, if it worked as good as coil and wick I'd switch to this system instantly. It just seems like when they get it right it will vape perfectly, this is Version 1 though and they seem far from perfection with this design.

Thank you for the heads up. It baffles me that products like this are so expensive. It's one thing to price a vape higher if it's great quality, but if it's crappy quality, you're better off pricing it in the lower end. It doesn't even have any positive remarks on it, it's such a waste of money. But thank you very much for warning us about this one. Or else we would have wasted money on such a product.
