Hmmmmmmmm, can't see a charging port, even blowing up the pics.

But USB would be cool if it's only a passthrough and/or has internal batt that can be replaced.

 

Thats not a port in the stand up pic, lower left? Maybe not.

That spot on the side looks kind of irregular, like a wood knot, though it may be something else. Maybe a port and the shadowing makes it look irregular. Even blew up the picture size, and still can't tell what that is.

Hopefully, we will get an answer soon, to take one question off the table. I hate mysteries

 

It's definitely made of aluminum. I've seen one similar at VF, but can't remember whose.

 

Aluminum, and not translucent-paint painted striped wood? I thought those lines looked awfully good for wood, but I have seen on rare occasions, well-defined lines in wood.

Just shows how deceiving pics can be.

If it's aluminum, or any other kind of metal, that's even better.

 

I suppose it COULD be wood, but it sure looks like machined/finned aluminum. There are so many one-off custom super-mods, I can't keep track.
