The Hookah VV Mod

Got tired of having to keep re-charging batteries and since pass throughs are too weak, I decided to make my own VV mod.

 

That would be a great sitting around the fire camping mod. What's the battery set up ?

You need 5 cords coming out of it though, and wrap it in a pretty persian vase or something.

Right now its got a 3000mah NiCH battery in there. Its been about a week and its still going strong, but i am going to settle with a bigger battery. The output is about 4.2V to 6.8V and a max current output of 3.3 amps. I've also used RCA connectors for simplicity. So far it's been very reliable

why would you make an RCA connector ? they come pre made from the shops..

very cool Boost, nice use of the rca's too

 

Would be good with a small sealed 12v Lead-acid battery inside & would last ages before needing a charge But you would want a small vent hole in the tin somewhere.

Also an in-line firing button would be more convenient than the button on top of the tin, if you could get it to work that way.
