Its not another zipo!!!

Hi People

Like most people I have a cupboard full of old electronic stuff. You know the type of stuff that cost an arm and a leg to buy originally, and soon became old technology, or it ceased to function and was to old / expensive to get fixed. Honestly I have boxes of the stuff. Each piece in isolation is useless, but there is a goldmine of working circuits that can be chopped out and put to good use.

The attached pictures show my latest attempt at a PV with a slight difference. I am still waiting for a couple of parts to attempt a VV set up, but this is intended as a stopgap to keep me off the streets. The only reason I am posting this now is that I am now pretty much committed to complete it and I am going back to work. Maybe have different thoughts next month!!!!

The housing is an old cigarette case. Plenty of room for the bits. The images are a test of the layout to get some idea what will fit. The battery can be charged via an ego charger, or via a 5 volt usb port. There is a large usb port for emergency charging the cell phone, and a soon as I can find it and make it work, a flash light. The atty connection will be a 510 to ego adapter. Working that way I can use a 510 battery connection as a nut to lock the thing in position

The battery is a 1150mAh, I think an ex cell phone. The whole mess has been duck taped together for a couple of days and vaped with the Vision stone, and recharged my phone overnight. I know the thing works, but the tricky bit will be avoiding short circuits when I fit it in the box. For all the computer techs, the wiring is old IDE ribbon cable. The firing switch is a touch switch, to do away with the big black firing button.

Not sure about that. Most of this playing around is done by brail. NFI if it will work. Just suck it and see!!
